T-minus 8

So it's of official: I have 8 more Fridays left in Korea.

Tonight i'm going to the yearly fireworks festival. The same one I went to last year. I remember how new everything was 1 year ago. I remember walking with a group of people, also brand new, trying to get a taxi to this magical place called KSU. That's apparently where all the bars were. We would get into a taxi, tell them Kyungsung University, and they would make us get out and we couldn't figure out why.

I now know KSU was a 3 minute walk from where we were (like a 10 second taxi ride). Actually, now, I live in KSU! Can you imagine? In Korea, time will absolutely fly.

The weird looks I get on the subway, the "oh, wa-gook (foreigner)" I hear sometimes from kids and even the stench of the sewer that once almost made me throw up; all of these i've made mine. I can't picture myself back home yet, it doesn't seem real. I couldn't picture myself in Korea though and well, here I am.

More later..
