So much has changed since I first got here. I've learned so much. Re-reading some of my earlier posts, http://alexanderjamesclark.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html, I realize how wrong my first initial perception on everything had been.
First of all, it's kim-bop, not sim-bop.
Second, I went to a place called Ja-gal-chi, I remember calling it jangle or jingle. Like jingle all the way. Maybe I was just getting into the Christmas spirit early. SPEAKING OF CHRISTMAS: If anyone wants me to bring them back anything from this land of the rising sun, let me know. I have limited room so don't ask me for like, a small an Asian baby or something. I've gone this long without getting one, i'm not going to start now.
Third, I didn't have a fork or spoon and had to eat my noodles and rice from a ladle I found. Now I have two forks!! Still no spoon though. Working on that.
