Crab brains.

I.am.almost.done.

Today was a normal day at the hagwon. Two kids sneezed in my mouth today. Normal. I told my sister that it's my theory that when a super bug comes and kills off billions of people the only people who will survive are us Kindergarten teachers. We'll rise from the ashes, stickers on our face, all repeating in unison, like zombies, "B is for buttons, and buttons are for me." Maybe B would be for brains. We are zombies after all.

Today at 2pm the "North Korea is attacking your ass" siren went off. All the kids instinctivly hid under their desk. It reminded me of the videos I used to watch in school about the cold war. When diving under a desk would, some how some way, help you survive a nuclear explosion. I guess the led paint would of helped. Anyway, I was left there, marker in hand wondering what the shit is going on.
Like crabs on a beach, they all slowly came back out, one by one. Also like crabs, they didn't learn anything today. Stupid crabs.

12 solid days, 8 teaching days.

Cleaning and packing, i've found so many things I thought I lost. Eight socks, two shirts, a pair of pants and numerous papers with ideas, scribbled all over. A children's story I wrote months ago. I'm half expecting to find a half eaten sandwich back there. Speaking of sandwiches, i'm hungry and I just bought some peanut butter..

more later...
